The Quihi area has been identified by Preservation Texas as one of the most endangered in Texas.
Over the years, MCEAA has collected literally boxes of information on the history of the Quihi area and its Alsatian homes. Many of MCEAA's members are descendants of original settlers.
More text will be added later as MCEAA culls through that information and proceeds through the STB and National Historic Preservation Act process.
